The Gothenburg II, Uppsala II and Marstrand II are made from full staves of Pacific Premium cedar wood and in the warehouse, ready to be shipped! Upgrades include wood width and quality, larger cabin dimensions and added extras like the rain barrel jacket.

This Uppsala II, 4-person traditional steam barrel sauna, provides maximum usable space while minimizing excess cubic feet, allowing the sauna to heat quickly and efficiently. It comes with interior backrest and accent lighting, sandglass, thermometer, bucket and scoop, as well as stainless steel hinges and handle. A 6kw Harvia Wall heater and 40lbs of stones comes standard with your sauna order, with the option to upgrade to an 8kw for faster heat up time!

Ship-times can vary from season to season, and from model to model. Give us a call at 888-287-0111 or email sales@salussaunas.com to determine when your sauna is estimated to ship so you can begin planning for its delivery!

Our saunas ship either via LTL (less-than-truckload) carriers or dedicated flatbed rigs. In both cases, you will receive a notification when your sauna ships, as well as a call from the carrier to make arrangements for its delivery.

Please note that we will do our best to accommodate the delivery of your sauna around your busy schedule. However, we thank you in advance for being flexible with our driver’s rigid and pre-scheduled delivery timelines.

*Please Note: Island Deliveries are subject to additional fees. The Customer will be charged 100% of the additional delivery costs

Assembly

This may not be your exact sauna but the build process is pretty much the same.

Electrical Requirements
  • All heaters should be installed by a licensed electrician
  • All heaters require a 220/240 volt hardwired connection
  • 6kw heaters require a 30 amp connection
  • 8kw heaters require a 40 amp connection

We've been thinking about a sauna for a couple years but have never actually bought one because of the price (we were frequently quoted $10-$20,000 for an outdoor four person traditional sauna). I was surprised when I found the pricing at Salus Saunas - especially since comparable barrel saunas sell for significantly more.We ordered the Uppsala model, primarily because it was in-stock and ready to ship (due to COVID-19, almost everyone we've talked to recently had 20 week lead times on their saunas). Amber sent me an email the next day refunding some items I'd bought that actually came with the sauna, which I thought was great customer service. (Our sauna came with a bucket & ladle, thermometer, sandglass, rain cover, and 2 pillows).The heater, rocks, and a few smaller items arrived quickly via UPS and freight shipping was almost exactly what they said - 10-14 days (ours ran a few days over because of the Christmas holiday). It was very well packed and assembled easily.There were a few points in the process that I had questions (Amber sent me an instruction manual via email the day after I ordered the sauna that didn't exactly match the instructions that came packaged with the sauna), but I got quick responses via phone and email.Salus Saunas is doing a great job, and I wish that more companies provided quality, pricing, and high level of customer service that they do.|
