Measuring 6’x8’, it has enough space to let you stretch out or invite some friends over. The Harvia 8kW electric heater fires the room up to 180ºF in an hour. Customizations

Lumber type: Rustic cedar has a slightly red hue amongst the knots and boasts a pleasant cedar aroma. Lumber are 1 ⅜” thick to insulate the sauna room.

Vista Rear Window: Open the barrel sauna interior to breathtaking views with the addition of the vista rear window. This 20” x 36” piece of 3/8” glass sits on the back end barrel, above the electric heater.

Door style: Outfit your sauna with one of the following three door options: glass, wood with a window, all-wood.


Heater: The Pristine comes standard with an 8kW electric.

Our saunas ship either via LTL (less-than-truckload) carriers or dedicated flatbed rigs. In both cases, you will receive a notification when your sauna ships, as well as a call from the carrier to make arrangements for its delivery.

Please note that we will do our best to accommodate the delivery of your sauna around your busy schedule. However, we thank you in advance for being flexible with our driver’s rigid and pre-scheduled delivery timelines.

Care & Maintenance

Traditional saunas require very little upkeep. Simply wipe down the interior after each use and check for any dust or debris that you may have tracked in. Read more about long-term care and maintenance here.

Sauna Type

Heater and stones are essential to a traditional sauna experience. With the room at least heated to 160ºF, the traditional sauna can be enjoyed two ways. The first is called a dry sauna, which lacks any added moisture. The second is called a wet sauna, where you sprinkle water onto the heated stones to create a refreshing burst of steam and added humidity.

Assembly

Some basic handyman skills are helpful when assembling the sauna. The only additional equipment needed is a cordless drill. Two people can generally do the assembly in 6 hours or less. It is recommended that you review the assembly manual in advance to familiarize yourself with the process.

This may not be your exact sauna but the build process is pretty much the same

Electrical Requirements
  • All heaters should be installed by a licensed electrician
  • All heaters require a 220/240 volt hardwired connection
  • 7.5kw and 8kw heaters require a 40 amp connection
  • 9kw heaters require a 50 amp connection
  • The wood burning stoves require no electrical hookup. These come with a full chimney and chimney kit for installation.

So far so good.

Shipping was fast, nothing was damaged. Ordered the Pristine barrel, no porch, as it reduces internal dimensions. The base stave with drain holes was slightly warped but i was able to get it straighten out(I suspect it warped while shipping). Instructions were useful, I recommend using 2in deck screws over the included 2in nails for in the stave assembly as you can loosen/tighten them in staves to adjust for other staves that don't fit as tightly. All the other wood/parts were in excellent condition and enough staves were included to complete assembly and account for any possible issues. If you get the Huum drop series heaters they don't need the water proof boxes add ons, the electric huums comes with a Uku circuit board and its own water tight box, unless you need alot of additional room for wiring the UKU box should be adequate. The upgraded LED light strip is very nice feature, I highly recommend, gives you tons of lighting options. ONLY thought for improvements is better instructions for various heater/accessories WIRING layouts(and how to hide the wires best), its a bit of a puzzle to figure out and obviously can vary, but some could see it as challenging. But over all I am very very please with this sauna.
