This 6-person cabin sauna is for exceptional performance in any climate year-round. The peaked roof can handle a substantial snow load, and the front porch area serves as a place to cool off between sauna rounds.

The Olympia will impress anyone who steps foot inside the sauna. It has a full front porch, an attached changing room, and a spacious sauna room. The changing room can be outfitted with a variety of furniture or hooks, and is the perfect spot to get ready for a sauna even in the middle of winter. The sauna room has two bench levels, which can be split between six people for a sauna party or allow just a few people to stretch out and relax. The cabin design includes a sloping roof, interlocking timber pieces, a railing, and solid lumber. The sauna room can be outfitted with a Harvia 8kW electric heater or a wood-burning stove. If you favor convenience, the electric heater can delay the start time up to eight hours before it heats the room up to temperatures of 180ºF. Customizations

Heater: The Olympia comes standard with an electric heater. You can choose to upgrade it to a Virta deluxe heater or a wood-burning heater and chimney kit.

  • Free shipping is included for the 48 contiguous United States. 
  • Our saunas are delivered via curbside delivery. For a white-glove delivery option (additional cost), contact shipping@salussaunas.com or 888-287-0111.
  • Due to its large size, this sauna will be shipped via a flatbed carrier and offloaded with a forklift at your curbside. It will take 4-6 people to move the sauna by hand once on the curbside.
  • For a custom shipping quote to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico please email sales@salussaunas.com.
  • You will receive a notification when your sauna ships, as well as a call from the carrier to make arrangements for its delivery. However, please be flexible with our drivers’ pre-scheduled delivery timelines.

Please note:

  • Depending on the final location of your sauna, you may want to rent a forklift to move the pallet to its final location (with ideal conditions). Contact us prior to purchase with any questions.
  • Your delivery driver will contact you 1-3 days before delivering to schedule an exact time of delivery.

Important note:

  • If you cancel your order while it is in transit or you are unable to accept delivery of your sauna at the pre-established time, you will incur a shipping fee. The fee amount will vary depending on your location.

Care & Maintenance

Traditional saunas require very little upkeep. Simply wipe down the interior after each use and check for any dust or debris that you may have tracked in. Read more about long-term care and maintenance here.

Sauna Type

Heater and stones are essential to a traditional sauna experience. With the room at least heated to 160ºF, the traditional sauna can be enjoyed two ways. The first is called a dry sauna, which lacks any added moisture. The second is called a wet sauna, where you sprinkle water onto the heated stones to create a refreshing burst of steam and added humidity.

Assembly

Definite handyman or contracting skills are required. The instructions are basic and written for a global market with the assumption that the assembler has construction experience. Do not attempt to build on your own if you are not familiar with construction practices nor able to work with general instructions. It is recommended that you read the assembly manual in advance if you are unsure of your ability. Two people can generally assemble the unit in 2-3 days.

Electrical Requirements
  • All heaters should be installed by a licensed electrician
  • All heaters require a 220/240 volt hardwired connection
  • 8kw heaters require a 40 amp connection
  • 9kw heaters require a 50 amp connection
  • The wood burning stoves require no electrical hookup. These come with a full chimney and chimney kit for installation.

I built this Olympia Suana on a pea rock bed with skids in about 24 hours. Mainly 2 saturdays, i have legend wood stove. First fire got to 170, then 2nd i hit 210. It seems nice, plan to stain exterior, still a bit worried how interior will hold up. Did not include shingle starter row, felt or drip edge. THe floor also seemed to weak, so i added a few treated studs and cedar deck boards. Good fire wood makes a huge difference in heating. I have found after lighting stove, pack it full, let that burn down, then pack it again, and about the 3rd load it should be ready.|
