The Marion sauna is designed for those with a long to-do list and an eye for efficiency. Built to accommodate two people, this 6’x4’ traditional sauna will be at home in any backyard or home gym. Properly installed, the heater included in your sauna kit should consistently achieve temperatures of 175-185F in 45-60 minutes. Customizations

Lumber type: Rustic cedar has a slightly red hue amongst the knots and boasts a pleasant cedar aroma. Lumber are 1 ⅜” thick to insulate the sauna room.

Vista Rear Window: Open the barrel sauna interior to breathtaking views with the addition of the vista rear window. This 20” x 36” piece of 3/8” glass sits on the back end barrel, above the electric heater.

Door style: Outfit your sauna with one of the following three door options: glass, wood with a window, all-wood.


Heater: You can upgrade the Marion from the standard 4.5kW heater to an 6kW.

Our saunas ship either via LTL (less-than-truckload) carriers or dedicated flatbed rigs. In both cases, you will receive a notification when your sauna ships, as well as a call from the carrier to make arrangements for its delivery.

Please note that we will do our best to accommodate the delivery of your sauna around your busy schedule. However, we thank you in advance for being flexible with our driver’s rigid and pre-scheduled delivery timelines.

Care & Maintenance

Traditional saunas require very little upkeep. Simply wipe down the interior after each use and check for any dust or debris that you may have tracked in. Read more about long-term care and maintenance here.

Sauna Type

Heater and stones are essential to a traditional sauna experience. With the room at least heated to 160ºF, the traditional sauna can be enjoyed two ways. The first is called a dry sauna, which lacks any added moisture. The second is called a wet sauna, where you sprinkle water onto the heated stones to create a refreshing burst of steam and added humidity. Traditional indoor saunas use your existing floor, and the Marion is no exception. Read about suitable floor options here.

Assembly

Mid-level handyman and assembly skills are recommended for this sauna. Minimal sawing or modifying certain components may be necessary during the assembly process. Two people can generally do the assembly in 6-8 hours. It is recommended that you review the installation manual in advance to familiarize yourself with the process.

Wow! Salus saunas is one of the easiest and kindest companies to work with. I placed my order by phone and in some 2-3 weeks i had a sauna sitting on a pallet in my driveway. I purchased a Marion, their two-person barrel sauna. As healthcare workers my wife and i were given a discount and upgrades. That was just amazing given all we have been through with covid the past three years.While it is best to have two people assemble the Marion, i was able to do it by myself. It was not difficult, instructions were clear, video was good, and the design and fabrication made everything simple. I would note that if you are not a handy person there could be a few more details in the instructions. Did i mention that it looks marvelous also?Just waiting on the electricians to come wire it and we will fire it up!I am adding a cool off station next to it so we can prolong our sauna sessions. This is a total wonder addition to our outdoor space. I could not be happier with the communication, support, and kindness of everyone at Salus Saunas. They are a real top notch company and good, caring people.|

Really happy with my new Sauna. I got the smallest outdoor model (Marion) and it's plenty spacious. It shipped pretty quickly, and the sales rep Jeff was really great to work with. Putting it together was fun. It does take a few hours but there are instructions. I wish the instructions were a little more details (for example, where exactly does the heater guard go?). But bottom line - great product and company.|
